How TopDevs created a camera compass app for iOS and Android that brings unique value for users and the location tracking industry. Solocator app allows users to take and stamp photos with compass direction, GPS location, altitude, date, time, etc. Additional functionality is incorporated into the Industry Pack, such as capture editable notes, utilize custom exporting options, and track photos in map view. Using this app, users can easily navigate to the exact location where the photo was taken. Challenges The client came to us with an idea to capture comprehensive data about buildings and land. It helps to define major aspects while making up a decision of whether a person is ready to buy or rent a property. The initial app version is already leveraged in Australia and New Zealand. Our team had to not only implement the idea but expand its possibilities via an additional feature set. This way an app is expected to be used by a diverse range of audiences - from field workers to drivers and real estate professionals. All for a purpose to identify photo location, time, and other crucial information for each particular case. Solutions We've started our cooperation with an implementation of the basic app idea. Further features were added along the way. Over time we've polished our communication and development process to make it even more transparent and continue supporting the project for over 8 years so far.
